Refund policy

Clocked Out PC builds systems to order. Because your PC is assembled specifically for you, returns work differently than for off-the-shelf products. State and federal consumer protections still apply and nothing here limits rights you have by law.
Cancellation — build-to-order and custom builds
- Free cancellation window: from purchase until we notify you that parts have been ordered for your build (typically 1–2 business days). Full refund to your original payment method.
- After parts are ordered but before shipping: we will cancel on request, but actual, documented costs we cannot recover are deducted from the refund. We'll give you the exact numbers in writing before you confirm.
- Fully custom builds follow the same rule — you only ever pay documented, unrecoverable costs, never a penalty fee.
Ready-to-ship systems (new)
- May be returned within 14 days of delivery in original condition and packaging, with all included accessories, for a refund minus our actual outbound shipping cost. Buyer pays insured return shipping.
- Missing accessories or packaging may reduce the refund by the documented replacement cost — we'll tell you the exact amount before processing.
Pre-owned and refurbished systems
Same 14-day window and conditions as ready-to-ship systems above. The condition stated on the listing is the condition we expect back.
Components and accessories
- Unopened: returnable within 14 days, buyer pays return shipping.
- Opened: contact us first — manufacturer seals and RMA rules apply.
Defective on arrival / warranty issues
Not "returns" at all — covered by the Warranty Policy at our cost. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery for shipping-damage claims so we can pursue the carrier insurance.
Non-returnable
- Opened operating system licenses and software.
- Systems altered after delivery (hardware modifications, physical damage).
No restocking fees
We do not charge restocking fees. Deductions are limited to the documented actual costs described above.
Return authorization required
Contact us before shipping anything back. We'll confirm the return, give you the correct address and packing instructions, and note the authorization on your order. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.
How to start
Email clockedoutpc@gmail.com with your order number. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after our receipt and inspection. We never process refunds through any other channel.
